Cheese Chili Appetizer
½ Cup butter
10 Eggs
1 Pint cottage cheese
1 Tbsp Baking powder
1 lb Jack cheese, grated dredge (coat) the cheese with 1/2 cup Almond Flour
1 – 8 oz can chopped green chilies (I use the mild ones)
Melt butter in 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
Beat eggs in large bowl. Add flour, baking power, salt and blend.
Add melted butter, chilies, cottage cheese, Jack cheese and mix to blend.
Melting the butter in the baking pan serves a double purpose – it saves taking time to grease the pan.
Put in pan and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 – 40 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve hot.
